Verstappen called to order by Lambiase: 'Mate, please.....'

Max Verstappen and Gianpiero Lambiase had another old-fashioned altercation over the team radio. Verstappen complained about downshifting, after which Lambiase replied sharply.

In the first part of qualifying, things did not go smoothly for Max Verstappen. In the changeable conditions, Verstappen struggled to set a good lap and struggled with his car. Verstappen's biggest problem was downshifting, which he revealed over the team radio.

"Yeah, downshifts are s*** too," Verstappen informed his race engineer. GP, however, responded: ' 'Ok Max. We need a bit more detail that that. Not everything because...A digital please mate."
