Qualifying results British GP | Verstappen on pole, Perez P16

Qualifying for the British Grand Prix proved once again to be a winner for Max Verstappen. The Dutchman got through Q1 and Q2 easily and managed to capture pole position in Q3 with the fastest time. Behind him, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will start during the race. His will try to make things difficult for Verstappen.

During Q1, Kevin Magnussen caused the red flag. He came to a standstill on the track in his car. The Haas car had to be towed away which caused some delay during the session. Red Bull driver Sergio Perez was out after Q1, as he did not get beyond the 16th time in his Red Bull.

Which drivers were very competitive were those from McLaren. Piastri and Norris were very convincing in Q1, Q2 and Q3. Piastri will start from P3 and Norris is set to begin the race from P2 on Sunday.
