VIDEO | RB16B stuck to the asphalt during Verstappen's fastest lap

Max Verstappen was the fastest of all during the winter test in Bahrain with a time of 1.28.960 on the C4 tyre. You can now watch that lap in a Red Bull Racing video.

It was a good winter test in Bahrain for Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen. The new RB16B was fast, drove quite a few laps without any problems and was also very stable. Where the RB16 from 2020 had a lot of problems with the balance, the new RB16B seemed to stick to the tarmac. This is in contrast to Mercedes.

Where Red Bull drove a good test, there were problems for their biggest competitor. Mercedes had balance issues with the new W12 and saw Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas spin more often. An unusual sight, but Mercedes wouldn't be Mercedes if they didn't fix that before the first Grand Prix.
