The first red flag for the Monaco Grand Prix has been raised. The drivers were on their way for the formation lap after a delayed start, but the track is currently too wet for a standing start.

For now, drivers must wait in the pit lane until the rain subsides. It seems to be a short shower passing over the circuit, so a restart is expected to be imminent. Max Verstappen doesn't understand why the FIA postponed the start. Daniel Ricciardo and Charles Leclerc let it be known over the on team radio that the rain is heavier than expected.
