Tsunoda must report to stewards for incident at GP Netherlands

A lot happened in Yuki Tsunoda's race. The AlphaTauri driver initially retired his car because one of his tyres was not fitted properly, was then instructed to continue and come in, and his race still ended in a retirement. To put the icing on the cake, the Japanese driver also had to report to the stewards.

It was not Tsunoda's day at Zandvoort. With a ninth starting position, the AlphaTauri driver had an excellent starting point for the race, but on lap 44 of the race he ran into problems. On the team radio, Tsunoda reported that something was wrong with his car: one of the tyres was not properly fixed, after which the driver immediately parked his car alongside the track.

However, he was instructed to drive on and come to the pits, as no problem was visible from the pit wall. During the ensuing pit stop, a lot happened in the Japanese driver's cockpit, and a good thirty seconds later he was able to continue on his way. However, this did not last long either, as on lap 48 he was forced to stop his AlphaTauri. FIA announced that Tsunoda has to report for the alleged incident in the pit lane.
