Sainz visibly affected by seeing live footage of Norris crash

Lando Norris made a big crash during qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix. As the rain intensified he attempted a fast lap, but collided hard with the tyre stacks at Raidillon.

Carlos Sainz, last year's team mate at McLaren, saw the crash happen live on the big screen during an interview with Spanish media. Understandably, he's shocked at seeing the images, and he's visibly affected. He falls silent while he waits for Norris to get out of his car.

He continues his interview when he sees Norris get out of his car, but is visibly worried. The same was true for Sebastian Vettel, who even stopped next to the McLaren driver to see if he was okay. Vettel was therefore not happy with the fact that the session was not stopped earlier.
