Perez very happy with Red Bull Racing: 'This was a huge challenge'

Sergio Perez has extended his contract until 2024 at Red Bull Racing. In a video released by the team, the Mexican looks back on his first season for the team and also looks at the possibilities in the future.

On Tuesday, Red Bull announced what they had known for some time: Perez will stay longer at Red Bull. On Sunday, Perez had already redeemed himself by telling Christian Horner behind the scenes that he had signed too early. However, he had forgotten that there are also cameras running behind the scenes of the podium.

Now that the bullet is in the bag, Red Bull can look ahead. With Max Verstappen locked in through 2028 and Perez through 2024, the team has a strong lineup for the coming seasons. Now it's up to Perez to repay that confidence with good performances like his win in Monaco.
