Welcome back to GPblog’s weekly news flash, bringing you the latest in the Formula 1 world. Several drivers have criticised the Miami Grand Prix’s surface following the inaugural weekend at the circuit around the Hard Rock Stadium.

On the other side of the coin, Ralf Schumacher thinks Hamilton and Vettel are now trying to make a point about every rule the FIA brings in. For two experienced drivers, he isn’t happy.

Away from safety and into pure speed and two-time world champion Mika Hakkinen has a clear favourite in his mind right now. While Ferrari and Charles Leclerc started the season in fine fashion, Red Bull and Max Verstappen have come to the fore lately and were dominant in Miami.
