Max Verstappen's onboard radio after the finish of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was a nice one. The 23-year old Limburger takes the time to thank his entire team for this great result. According to Verstappen it was a 'simply lovely race'.
Next, Christian Horner thinks he has to bring some bad news to his Dutch driver: "Bad news Max, Daniel has driven the fastest lap." Until the last lap the extra World Championship point was in the hands of Verstappen.
Max's reaction towards his team boss is telling: "Ai ai ai. But I don't care about that," he laughs. "That's all good."
