Italian racing legend Alex Zanardi thinks Ferrari will be the team to win the title this year, although he does warn to keep an eye on defending champion Lewis Hamilton.
Ferrari will start the year with a new driver in Charles Leclerc, who replaces Kimi Raikkonen. Zanardi thinks this is an upgrade for the prancing horse.
"Charles Leclerc is an excellent choice for Ferrari," the Italian told Corriere della Sera.
"Sebastian Vettel will receive a wake-up call. Even though I do not think he really needed it now. I think it's very good that such an exceptionally talented driver as Leclerc came to Ferrari. Even if I wish that Vettel remains team leader.
"When Seb prevails, some people's doubts are cleared up, which has left Ferrari with a driver problem in recent years. With Hamilton, who drives as good as faultless, Ferrari must develop the car efficiently and must not make mistakes.
