Ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix, Christian Horner was dismissed from Red Bull Racing. His rival, Toto Wolff joked about the Briton's dismissal to Sky Sports, after the two had many battles over the years.
Mercedes team principal and CEO Toto Wolff had many moments with Christian Horner over the years in F1. With the Briton getting replaced by Laurent Mekies at Red Bull Racing, the Austrian is now also the longest-serving team boss in the competition.
At Spa-Francorchamps, he reacted to Horner's dismissal. "In a way yes, [I'll miss him]. He was one of the main casts. I don't think he's gone forever, he could pop up in some other function."
"I need to be careful, he could rock up in the FIA then I'm really in the s***," he joked.

Why will Wolff miss Horner?

"He was someone that was controversial, polarising and not soft-washed. That was good from the entertainment factor and from that perspective he will be missed. His track record speaks for itself," he also praised the man who led the team since its beginning for his achievements.
In FP1, George Russell finished in P4, while Kimi Antonelli set the sixth fastest time. Read the full report of the session here!
