Verstappen has to choose between two great loves: 'Now I have to watch out'

They make a true 'power couple': Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet. Asked to choose between an evening watching football or a romantic film with his girlfriend, however, the Red Bull Racing driver had to think twice.

On the track, Verstappen's girlfriend can often be seen waiting for and cheering on the triple world champion after yet another victory or podium finish, but off the track, beautiful snapshots of the couple also regularly appear.

At the same time, the Dutchman has another great love: football. When presented with the choice between an evening watching football or a romantic evening with Kelly during Viaplay's end-of-year interview, the Red Bull driver does have a hard time.

"Now I have to watch what I say again," laughs Verstappen. "My girlfriend is obviously going to see all this." In the end, the choice falls on a compromise: "Champions League usually starts at nine o'clock or so. We can then see that film around 11, 11.30. We can just combine it."
