Stewards announce their verdict: Will Williams get a penalty?

Alexander Albon and Franco Colapinto had to report to the stewards at the end of sprint qualifying in Austin. This was not about an event during a session, but because both drivers failed to attend the mandatory driver briefing. The stewards issued a ruling on the incident.

Prior to sprint qualifying, it was already announced that both Williams drivers had to report to the stewards due to their absence from the driver briefing. In this meeting, all drivers go over important matters for the race weekend in question together with race control.

No further action will be raken, as the stewards feel that the team did try to attend the meeting together with the drivers.
