While the Formula 1 drivers and teams are heading towards Mexico, a heavy hurricane is also approaching. How long will the hurricane surround the country, and what consequences will this have for the Mexican Grand Prix? This is the weather forecast for the Mexican GP.

Hurricane Otis, which is heading towards the coastal areas of Acapulco at the time of writing, seems just short of reaching Mexico City. However, there is an increased chance of rain on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday compared to the usual sunny weather in the region.

After a particularly cool Wednesday, with temperatures not exceeding 20 degrees Celsius, the weather is becoming more pleasant in Mexico City. There is still a significant chance of rain and even thunderstorms on Thursday, but that chance will decrease from Friday.

During the entire weekend, maximum daytime temperatures will be around 25 degrees Celsius. It may become slightly warmer during the F1 race, but the temperature will also remain pleasant on Sunday with a maximum of 26 degrees.
