Brazil Grand Prix weather forecast | Varying conditions at Interlagos

These are particularly busy weeks for drivers and their teams. Formula 1 hosts three countries in as many weeks, and with that comes varying weather conditions. After the heat in Austin, and the pleasant conditions in Mexico City, the drivers in Sao Paulo have to reckon with severe thunderstorms.
The sixth and final sprint weekend of this season is scheduled in Brazil. That means there is only one free practice, after which qualifying is already underway. Then the parc fermé rules apply, which means that adjustments to the set-up cannot be made. It is therefore important for the teams to get the set-up right away.

A wet opening day in Brazil

It doesn't help then if Friday is likely to be finished in wet conditions - with possibly even thunderstorms. Although it will be particularly hot on the opening day at 30 degrees, it is therefore also going to be wet, Weather.com expects. A complicating factor for the set-up is going to be that no more rain is expected for Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, temperatures will be lower than on Friday. It is likely to be around 27 degrees. On Sunday, the day of the Grand Prix, the mercury will drop further, to a maximum of 23 degrees. As mentioned, the weekend will continue to be dry.
