VSC again costs Verstappen dearly in Miami: the Dutchman loses podium

On lap 28, Oliver Bearman had technical difficulties with his Haas, slowing into Turns 7, 8 and 9. Race Control triggered the Virtual Safety Car, which played against Verstappen.
During the VSC, Mercedes decided to call in George Russell, who at the time led Verstappen by some 12 seconds. Under a VSC the time lost during a pitstop is of 11 seconds around the Miami International Autodrome.
Max Verstappen had made his pitstop before Bearman's issue, meaning he and Red Bull were powerless to reply to Mercedes' and Russell' VSC benefit.
The gap to Russell now, for Verstappen, is of 3 seconds.
