Vettel cryptic: 'What comes next, only time will tell'

Sebastian Vettel has had a successful Formula One career. At Red Bull Racing, the German driver managed to win the world title no less than four times and also showed himself to be positive in other areas. However, with the end of his career insight, he does not yet know what he will do next, he told the German Bild.

Vettel is having a difficult season at Aston Martin. At the beginning of the racing year, he suddenly had to deal with a corona infection, so he was in quarantine during the Grands Prix in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He therefore instinctively began his season at a disadvantage.

In addition, his team is performing poorly, for the time being, so he has not yet determined for himself what he will do next season. His contract expires at the end of the racing year. It, therefore, seems to be a good moment for him to evaluate and list the options to make a well-considered decision.

"I don't want to create expectations about finding the perfect challenge," Vettel stated to the medium about his future. "I have found something in Formula 1 that I am very good at. Something where I can compete with the best in the world. What comes next, only time will tell."
