After winning the Belgian Grand Prix in convincing fashion, Sebastian Vettel analyzed what it was about his performance that eventually saw him get out on top, thus nudging him closer to Lewis Hamilton in the title race.
Vettel started behind the Brit, but a nifty move in the first lap saw him get past Hamilton and slide into first place, at which point he never let go. He's now passed the legendary Alain Prost in career wins, with the German now racking up 52 of them.
"I had a great start, Lewis pushed me quite far to the left, but l knew l would have my chance at the top of the hill," he explained when analyzing his overtake on Hamilton to Sky Sports F1's Martin Brundle.
"Timing is crucial and l managed that perfectly, l thought.
"I had a good restart after the Safety Car and after that it was a very smooth race.

"It was a great weekend."
It certainly was if you're a Ferrari fan. Although Kimi Raikkonen's retirement might have put a sour note on the weekend for the Italian team, Vettel getting closer to Hamilton must be a great feeling from their point of view.
