Vettel after P2-finish: "Couldn't get closer"

Even though Daniel Ricciardo had problems with his engine, Sebastian Vettel couldn't really catch up with the Aussie, which frustrated Vettel.

He ended up in P2 and even had to look in his mirrors at the end, as Lewis Hamilton was charging from behind in third place. Still, Vettel gave credit where it was due to the man who beat him.

"We had the pace, but it was a difficult race," Vettel told track-side reporter David Coulthard after climbing out of his Ferrari.

Ricciardo was definitely on a mission to get redemption for his heart-breaking loss in Monaco in 2016, which maybe helped him push that little bit harder.

Still, Vettel gained three points on Lewis Hamilton, so the German should be somewhat happy with the overall result.
