Max Verstappen has hinted at a future with Honda despite the Japanese manufacturer's impending split with Red Bull.
Honda powered Verstappen to all four of his world championships so far, with the brand acting as a technical partner since leaving the grid as an official power unit supplier at the end of the 2021 season.
But it will solely supply Aston Martin from the start of Formula 1's new regulatory era next term, ensuring that the Silverstone-based outfit will have two of the key puzzle pieces of Red Bull's success in Honda and technical guru Adrian Newey.
Former F1 race winner Juan Pablo Montoya recently suggested Aston Martin would offer a deal Verstappen "can't refuse" to leave Red Bull and while the Dutchman's current contract runs through to the end of 2028, he has refused to rule out a future collaboration with Honda.

Verstappen: 'Remember what we achieved'

"It's been a ride that I enjoyed a lot," Verstappen told the crowd gathered for a Red Bull/Racing Bulls demonstration in Tokyo.
"Of course, before we started working with Honda, we had our success. But I could have never imagined the heights that we got to, winning four championships together.
"I want to try and just enjoy the weekend, try to go as fast as you can, but it's more about also just remembering all that we have achieved together in the sport and who knows, of course, in the future as well?
"You know what can be done. So it's like a goodbye for now, but that's it. I'm still quite young and you never know what happens in the future."
