Max Verstappen suggests he might drive with a little bit more control this weekend but won’t slow down as a result of the incident in China.
Undoubtedly, Verstappen has been the talking point in the build-up to this race after he crashed into Sebastian Vettel 2 weeks ago. This crash was made when Verstappen attempted an impossible overtake and resulted in having both drivers races ruined.
Verstappen was happy to voice his opinion back to critics. “Nobody is perfect,” he said.
“I am very happy to listen and also improve like everyone else, these situations just make you a better driver at the end of the day.
“You learn from yourself and that doesn’t mean you have to drive slower, it actually means you have to drive faster - maybe with a little bit of control.”

Verstappen remained confident that results will be turned around as the season progresses. It has been a troubling start for Red Bull, but the team have some motivation going into the European stint with Ricciardo winning the last race.
“In general, the whole season pace-wise I have been good but the results have not been there yet, but there have been only three races so far and 18 to go.”
