Verstappen reveals secret about baby Lily ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix

While the Monaco Grand Prix is not his home race, Verstappen, like many other drivers, now lives in Monaco with his partner, Kelly Piquet, her daughter, Penelope, and their newborn Lily.

When asked how he slept before his first Monaco Grand Prix as a father, he said, "Yes, I slept good. Luckily, she also sleeps quite well, you know, so that helps."

Verstappen will start the Monaco Grand Prix in fourth place. While he qualified fifth, Lewis Hamilton received a three-place grid penalty, which moved Verstappen up a place.

Verstappen said, "Honestly, it doesn't really change anything. We always try to do the best we can. P4, P5 was the best we could do in qualifying."

He continued, "I've had a lot of races around here where you're just stuck behind another car. It's not the best, but hopefully with these two pit stops that we have to do, it spices things up a little bit."
