Verstappen laughs about 'his own' song: 'Then there's a problem'

Every Formula 1 weekend, the drivers arrive at the fan zone stage. There, they are asked questions or have to perform challenges, all in front of the fans in the area.

The fans in Hungary were clearly excited about Max Verstappen's arrival. The popular ‘Du-du-du-du Max Verstappen’ chant could be heard loudly. The Dutchman has often made it clear that he doesn't particularly like the song.

Footage from the fan zone in Budapest shows that the Red Bull Racing driver could only laugh about the situation. "This is gonna be a problem. One day they are just sleeping and they are just doing this in their sleep," the four-time world champion said.

'Du-du-du-du Max Verstappen' has been going viral for years. The tune only really became known because it was played at Tomorrowland last year. Even this year, the song was played at the big festival, and by now, it is sung by all sorts of fans all over the world.
