Verstappen leads the World Championship, but also still leads this list

Max Verstappen has snatched the lead in the Formula One championship back from Lewis Hamilton, but another statistic is still led as well by the Dutchman.

The Red Bull Racing driver has had a special stat to his name for some time now: not only did he lead the most laps in 2021, but he led more laps than all the other drivers combined.

Verstappen did not lead the Turkish Grand Prix, but nevertheless, he still holds the statistic. His opponents have come closer though: Verstappen has 469 laps to his name and the rest 465.
