Verstappen: "It doesn't really matter, we're already short on that anyway".

After a rainy Friday ahead of the Eifel Grand Prix, Max Verstappen already indicated that he doesn't care. According to the Dutchman, the fact that it continues to rain for the rest of the weekend doesn't increase his chances of victory. After all, Red Bull are way short of Mercedes.

In 2016, Verstappen showed that he had a special 'racecraft' at his disposal. The Red Bull Racing driver caught up in an exceptionally rainy race at the Interlagos circuit in Brazil. Last year he won in a crazy wet race in Germany.

According to Verstappen, these results don't provide us with any certainty for the upcoming rainy GP in Germany. "We shouldn't dream, because in general we are still too slow. We have to be lucky to win in the dry as well as in the wet," the Limburger said in conversation with Ziggo Sport.
