Verstappen: "He is one of the best drivers ever in Formula 1"

In recent years it is mainly Max Verstappen who chases Lewis Hamilton when Valtteri Bottas does not. Despite the strong rivalry between Verstappen and Hamilton, the bond between the two drivers is good, says the Dutchman.

"He's alright. We are each other's competitors, but there is nothing wrong with that. We are just always nice to each other. He is one of the best drivers ever in Formula 1," Verstappen talks about Hamilton in the latest edition of the Dutch Formule 1 Magazine.

Verstappen says he does not know Hamilton very well as a human being. The Dutchman follows Hamilton on Instagram, where the Mercedes driver is a lot more active than Verstappen. "Everyone lives his own life and does what he wants to do. Isn't that great?"

The Red Bull Racing driver is a lot less active at Instagram and mainly posts photos of his Formula 1 adventures. "I don't like sharing my private life on social media.

"I think it's important to have a life outside of F1." The Limburger says he doesn't care what people think of him, but he doesn't want people talking about him all the time either.
