VeeKay takes sixth place: 'Good strategy executed'.

Alexander Rossi succeeded in winning again on Saturday after almost fifty races without a victory. In the Gallagher Grand Prix, Rinus van Kalmthout also stood out with a sixth place.

Colton Herta was well on the way to victory when he suddenly experienced gearbox problems. The result was that Rossi found himself in the lead and with a chance to take another victory. The American managed to do so convincingly.

Van Kalmthout can also look back on a good weekend. The Dutchman worked hard during the race and convinced with a sixth place, which did him good business for the world championship. VeeKay, as his nickname goes, was also very satisfied with his own performance, he announced in his team's press release.

"Everything we had in our own hands, we performed well," Van Kalmthout stressed. "Ed Carpenter Racing executed a good strategy for today, in which I am satisfied with my own contribution. The three Penske team cars that finished ahead of me proved to be just a little too fast, so I am content with this sixth place."
