Scuderia Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur is confident Lewis Hamilton will not encounter any brake problems during the Mexican Grand Prix weekend.
"It's quite complex to do the fine-tuning in Mexico… but so far, it's under control.”

The 57-year-old explained how challenging it can be to fine-tune setups around the Mexico circuit before reassuring that everything is under control.
“The two layouts are completely different. It's not at all the same issue, and this morning it was under control — but it’s not the same situation.”
“At the end of the weekend, we are all managing not only the brakes but also the engine. It means that it's quite complex to do the fine-tuning in Mexico because you have to find the right balance between engine, brakes, and so on – but so far, it's under control.”

During the Singapore Grand Prix, Hamilton was plagued by a late brake issue that resulted in a five-second penalty. The seven-time world champion struggled to keep his car within track limits after his brakes overheated and began smoking at the Marina Bay circuit.

Lewis Hamilton optimistic ahead of Mexico

Earlier, Hamilton expressed optimism about his prospects at the Mexico City Grand Prix. The British driver revealed that he is targeting a podium finish at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
The 40-year-old also commented on Ferrari’s performance swing at the Circuit of the Americas, expressing hope that it translates into a positive result for the Italian team in Mexico.
