Valtteri Bottas is confident that Alfa Romeo will perform well next season. The Finnish driver told Reuters that despite his 33-year-old age, he still feels enough energy in him to take his team forward.
After five seasons with Mercedes, Bottas decided to switch to Alfa Romeo at the beginning of 2022. Together with the inexperienced Guanyu Zhou, he was to try to help the formation return to better results after a down period.
The driver immediately proved his added value for the racing stable last season. With 49 points, he played a crucial role in finishing sixth in the constructors' championship. Alfa Romeo finished equal to Aston Martin with 55 points.

Bottas wants to continue for years to come

Despite stepping back, Bottas notices that he still gets satisfaction from his race weekends. "Actually, I always feel like from every season I learn something new," he analyses. "That way you become more experienced and better. I still have many years in me, no doubt."
