UPDATE: Ferrari's injured mechanic

Ferrari’s injured mechanic has successfully undergone surgery after breaking his leg during a pitstop.

Kimi Raikkonen pulled out of his pit box whilst the mechanic was still changing the rear tyre.

The mechanic then went over the top of the wheel which caused his leg to break.

He wrote: “The operation went well.

“I want to thank all the people who asked about me and worried.”
