Unwell Gasly not present at Monza circuit on Thursday

AlphaTauri has reported that Pierre Gasly is ill. The team reports that the French driver will not be present at the various press moments on Thursday.

Gasly will not appear in the F1 paddock on Thursday for the press events. The Frenchman was due to join the FIA's regular press event, but the AlphaTauri driver will not be at the Monza circuit.

''Following the advice of doctors, Pierre Gasly will not be at the circuit today as he is currently unwell'', AlphaTauri revealed on its Twitter channel. Should Gasly still be ill on Friday, the team's reserve driver Liam Lawson could come into the picture as a possible replacement. The New Zealander is in Italy because F2 is also in action there.
