Stroll finally breaks silence over alledged meltdown in Spanish GP

According to a report from the BBC last week, the Canadian driver, after being eliminated in Q2 with the fourteenth fastest time, allegedly damaged equipment inside the garage, including his own helmet. He also reportedly shouted at some of his mechanics.

The rumor was later publicly denied by Aston Martin, which refuted the media reports and emphasized that their driver's outburst was not related to his wrist injury.

Asked about what really happened in the garage last week, Stroll responded: ''I was frustrated for sure. Frustrated about my wrists and the last three races from Imola. And it was just inhibiting my driving''.

Providing more details about his wrist pain, the Canadian commented: ''As an athlete in any sport, think you're always trying to push through pain, discomfort as much as you can to try and get a good result at the end of the weekend. In that situation, I was struggling and I was trying to push through it, but I didn't feel sensible to push anymore. It felt like the damage was getting worse''.
