Sainz: "Never had problems with any teammate"

Now that Ferrari's new car has been presented the new Formula 1 season can really begin. The team can only do better this year, as last season was the worst season for Ferrari in 40 (!) years.

Sebastian Vettel's, contract wasn't renewed after a disappointing season. With Carlos Sainz, Charles Leclerc gets a new, fresher teammate who no doubt can't wait to get started. Leclerc and Vettel got on well together, although they appeared to clash more often on track both literally and figuratively. If it is up to Sainz, this will not happen to him.

To Crash.net he says, "Charles and I spent a lot of time together at Maranello in January and February. We get on very well together. I think together we can definitely make the team move forward again."

So the Spaniard, who made his debut against a similarly debutant Max Verstappen, is not worried about quarrelling with his teammate. "There is always a balance between wanting to be competitive against your teammate and the team's interests. I've never had any problems with a teammate, so I don't know why it would happen with Charles."
