Former Formula 1 world champion Nico Rosberg believes the sport will have to give up their fuel-powered engines one day.
This may be an unpopular opinion to all of you petrolheads out there - but that is the view of the 2016 champion Rosberg.
Since retiring from Formula 1 a few years ago, the German driver has invested numerous times into 'E-Mobility', which includes all the all-electric single series Formula E.
Formula E is being shown live on BBC Sport for the first time this season - and has subsequently gained a lot of media attention and it now seems to appear to a much more wider fanbase than before.
"If the whole world is buying electric or hydrogen cars, F1 could not keep its gas engines," Rosberg told the world economic forum in Switzerland. "It would not make sense. At some point, they would have to change, I think."

Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen believes the two competitions are very different and has claimed he is happy with the way F1 currently is.
"It's just a different category," Verstappen said. "It seems like it's getting more interesting, but at the moment, I'm happy where I am. I will probably be one of the last people in the world to try and buy the last barrels of oil."
