Results second free practice E-Prix Monaco | De Costa with fastest time

Antonio Félix da Costa managed to record the fastest time in the second free practice session of the E-Prix in Monaco. The Portuguese was over two tenths faster than pursuer Mitch Evans. Robin Frijns finished in third place.

The fastest of the practice also did well earlier in the morning. Then he set the fourth time, which gave him confidence for the rest of the day. In the second session, the number twelve of the world championship managed to grab the first spot with a time of 1:30:435.

Evans and Frijns, who are in fourth and second place in the world championship respectively, were once again on top of their game. The Dutchman is only two points behind Jean-Eric Vergne and can therefore use this weekend to secure the lead. To do so, however, he must first set a good qualifying record.

Nyck de Vries set the fastest time in the first free practice, but was less happy an hour and a half later. With a sixth position, he came more than four tenths short of the fastest time, so he still has some work to do. Stoffel Vandoorne finished in eleventh place.
