Results: GPBlog Australian Grand Prix driver of the day revealed

After Sunday's Australian Grand Prix, we asked you who your driver of the day was. Smashing the poll, like he smashed the race, the winner is Valtteri Bottas.

Bottas picked up 46% of the vote, while Max Verstappen came second with 30%. Kevin Magnussen, 'the best of the rest' driver stepped onto the GPBlog podium to pick up third with 13%.

Bottas managed to pass Hamilton on the first corner of the race, and that was the last car he saw until reaching the backmarkers. He drove superbly, and it's no surprise he's your driver of the day.

Last year, Bottas didn't get off to the best start which caused him to play second fiddle in Lewis Hamilton's title push against Sebastian Vettel. He didn't even win one race in 2018, yet now he's 100% in 2019!

Adding to that was his fastest lap of the race. His victory actually scored him 26 points. Verstappen almost rattled it off him, but he soon bounced back.
