Results qualifying Australia | Verstappen fastest, Sainz P2

After an exciting qualifying session in Australia, Max Verstappen set the fastest time. Carlos Sainz is second, and Sergio Perez is third.

The field is incredibly close together. In Q1, there was a lot of swapping of first place. Both the McLaren drivers, the Ferrari drivers, the Red Bull drivers and the Aston Martin drivers were at number one for a while.

Q3 is ultimately what matters of course. Max Verstappen managed to beat the competition and got pole position.
