Renault team are in F1 for the long run - contract extensions last until 2024

The Renault Formula 1 team is showing no signs of turning away from Formula 1 ahead of the 2021 rule and regulation overhaul after contract extensions with partners last until the end of the 2024 Formula 1 season.

The French team are in the middle of a five-year plan which they said would be completed with Formula 1 titles. They might now be relying on the 2021 changes to become competitive against the likes of Mercedes and Ferrari.

Their plans for the future are coming together as BP and Castrol extend their partnership for an additional two years to their existing contract. This will keep their relationship until at least 2024. BP and Castrol will continue to supply Renault with providing advanced fuels and engine oil, gear and hydraulic oils.
