Renault team principal Cyril Abiteboul has confirmed that all Renault-powered cars will get an extra injection of power from this weekend, as reliability seems to be going well for the French power unit across all of its clients.
Sure, both Red Bull cars retired last week, but none of the two retirements had anything to do with the power unit. Max Verstappen did blame his qualifying crash on the engine, but both Red Bull boss Christian Horner and Renault boss Cyril Abiteboul debunked that theory.
Now, it's time for Renault to unlock the full power of the Renault engines.
"We're doing what we said we would do," Abiteboul told Motorsport.com.
"We wanted to confirm the reliability, which we now have.

"We had an incident with Ricciardo, but the reason for that is still unknown as of now, whether it was chassis or engine.
Regarding future upgrades, Abiteboul lifts the curtain by talking about a major MGU-K upgrade that's currently in the pipeline.
"We'll have some more stuff coming from the ICE, and also with the fuel a bit later, depending on the teams, as we're not using the same fuel obviously."
