Yuki Tsunoda suffered elimination during the second round of qualifying at the United States Grand Prix.
The Red Bull Racing driver, who endured a torrid outing during the Sprint qualifying session – failing to advance past the first round – suffered a similar fate, albeit in the second round of qualifying.
With over seven-tenths of a second separating him from his teammate Max Verstappen, the Japanese driver was only able to muster a 13th-place starting spot.
Prior to his elimination, Tsunoda had taken to the radio to complain that Racing Bulls driver Liam Lawson was impeding him during his final push lap. The Kiwi, however, also saw his lap time deleted, marking his second Q2 exit in as many sessions at the Circuit of the Americas.

Tsunoda will now shift focus to the race, as he aims to replicate his performance during the Sprint, where he made up 11 places after starting in 18th.
