Sebastian Vettel will return to the Singapore circuit this weekend as the record holder. For the German, it will be his last time to experience a Formula 1 race in the country. The driver is therefore looking forward to taking on the challenge, he told in the Aston Martin's press release.
"I have many fantastic memories of racing at Singapore," Vettel, who won five times, said. "I have always loved the challenge that the track provides. It is a proper street circuit – totally relentless, with corner after corner, and some incredibly fast sections."
"Getting on top of that challenge is incredibly satisfying, especially in qualifying. We should perform better here this weekend due to our car's strengths in slower-speed corners," said Vettel, who also won the last edition.

Stroll expects strong Aston Martin in Singapore

His teammate Lance Stroll too cannot wait to start the Singapore race weekend. The driver hints at the difficult weekend in Italy, in which Aston Martin did not manage to perform well. However, Stroll is confident that his team will do a lot better in Singapore and can drive towards the middle of the pack.
