After a strong getaway from Norris and Leclerc on the front row, Hamilton and Verstappen enjoyed the slipstream effect behind and challenged them into turn 1 in a dramatic four-wide moment.

Verstappen is late onto the brakes and locks up, going straight over the grass at turn 1 and rejoined in P4.
