Räikkönen denies rumours: 'Then you know more than me'

Kimi Räikkönen is in his final races before saying goodbye in Abu Dhabi. At the Qatar Grand Prix, the Finn failed to finish further than fourteenth, leaving him disappointed with the press.

Alfa Romeo is not having a great season. The team has eleven points in the Constructors' Championship, ten of which were scored by Räikkönen. In Qatar, the team had little to contribute as well. Where Räikkönen finished in fourteenth place, Antonio Giovinazzi even set a fifteenth time. "We were clearly not fast enough today," Räikkönen characteristically responded in conversation with Ziggo Sport.

Then the driver addressed the rumours that Alfa Romeo has problems with the floor of the car. Räikkönen made it clear that he knew nothing about these problems. "Problems with my floor? Then you know more than me", he stated gruffly.

Next year Alfa Romeo will compete with a completely new team. Valtteri Bottas already announced this summer that he would be joining the team. Last week it also announced that Guanyu Zhou will replace Antonio Giovinazzi.
