Piastri retires from FP1 after suspected hydraulic issue

Oscar Piastri joins Yuki Tsunoda as the two retirees of the first free practice session at Silverstone.

Piastri couldn't quite make it back into the pitlane after being forced to stop due to a suspected hydraulic issue.

Piastri joined Tsunoda in retiring from the session after Tsunoda spun early on and beached his car at Luffield. Piastri had to be wheeled down the pitlane by his mechanics, as seen by GPblog.
