For the first time in its history, the Monaco Grand Prix will have a mandatory two-pit-stop rule. Lando Norris says it will be a complicated race with a possible surprise winner.
Norris is currently second in the World Championship Standings. Only 13 points separate him from his teammate Oscar Piastri, who is in the lead.

Norris's Monaco strategy

When asked about his plan for the Monaco Grand Prix, Norris told GPBlog and others, “Honestly, I've not thought about it too much.”
“We just had our first introduction to it already. Obviously, at the minute the team are a bit more knowledgeable of all of the things that are needed more than myself at the minute. This is something I don't need to be overthinking, but it'll be a complicated race for sure.”

He continued, “It's not as simple as just boxing twice. It's an opportunity. That's the biggest thing, that there is an opportunity for everyone.”
“There can be more luck involved for anyone mean. It is easier to have probably a surprise winner this weekend, which is good and bad.”
Norris then admits, “For the front then that's not something you want, but for a bit further back then it's a perfect opportunity for you.”
He concluded, "Opportunity is probably the best way to put it.”
