Nico Rosberg has worries about how Mick Schumacher will cope under pressure

The attention and following that Mick Schumacher received in 2018 was high. Nico Rosberg worries that the media and those involved in Formula 1 are putting too much pressure and expectation on the back of Michael Schumacher's son.

Rosberg, who also followed the footsteps of his father, warns the Formula 1 world about the pressure on the 19-year-old's shoulders.

"It can be difficult if the whole of Germany looks at him, and it is very important to him that he does not lose the pleasure of racing," he tells German Welt.

"We have to be careful that we do not put too much pressure on him and start to expect too much from him," says Rosberg.

Schumacher's Formula 3 title win moves him into Formula 2 and much closer to his dream. As he gets closer, they'll be a lot more pressure put on by fans across the world, let alone in Germany.
