New FIA coronavirus figures report eight cases in last seven days

New coronavirus figures have been released by the FIA. Every week, the FIA announces how many positive tests there have been in the last seven days.
In order to protect all drivers and other people within the teams from the coronavirus, extensive testing is carried out by the FIA. Drivers are only allowed to stay within their own bubble and are expected to take responsibility for this. However, sometimes things go wrong. Earlier this season Racing Point driver Sergio Perez was infected with the virus, so Nico Hulkenberg had to replace him for two races. More recently Lance Stroll, also of Racing Point, became infected, and Hulkenberg filled in again.
However, the extensive testing and all the precautions seem to work. The most recent figures published by the FIA ​​on their website show that in the seven days from October 30 to November 5 only eight of the 1781 tests were positive. For reasons of privacy, the association cannot say who became infected, but we can assume that these are not drivers.
