Mercedes has revealed that they have changed "almost every square millimetre" of its initial car concept for the 2019 season.
The W10 was brought out in the second week of pre-season testing in Barcelona with updates to the new aerodynamic regulations for the upcoming season.
The car has a new front wing design and tweaks to other components in a bid for added performance for the start of the new season which takes place next Sunday in Melbourne.
"As excited as we are about this car, and we truly are excited about it, we know too that almost every square millimetre of this one is going to change again by the time we get to the first race in Melbourne," Mercedes technical director, James Allison told Crash.net.
"Because the rate of aerodynamic change at the moment with this new regulation is very rapid, meaning this launch car will be replaced by a whole new set of clothes, that we will take to Melbourne, and then keep developing throughout the whole year."

Drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas both said the upgrade to the car was encouraging after trying it out in the final week of pre-season testing.
