Mercedes will no longer be seen wearing Tommy Hilfiger clothes from next season, as a new brand has partnered with the Brackley-based team.
Mercedes are entering into a partnership with Adidas. The German brand will facilitate both leisure wear and the team's racing suits from 2025, the Daily Mail reports. The team is thus taking a big step with a view to 2025. With this partnership, the team wants to show that they have enough commercial value even without Lewis Hamilton. Joining forces with Adidas is a positive indicator of this.

Deal worth tens of millions

It is estimated that the deal with Adidas will involve more money than the collaboration with Puma and Tommy Hilfiger, which generated around six million for the team. The team is expected to be able to add tens of millions of euros over the term of the partnership. It is also a great partnership for Adidas. Last week, it was announced that they will not produce the German football team's shirt for the first time in over 70 years.

Trouble at Mercedes

Mercedes' team is having a tumultuous time. Lewis Hamilton is leaving at the end of the season, and there is much uncertainty about his replacement. As icing on the cake, they are not in good shape this season either. With just 26 points after three races, they are fourth in the standings, just above Aston Martin but well below the top three.
