Verstappen as motivated this year as in 2021 against Hamilton

Max Verstappen is fighting this season for the world championship against Lando Norris, after winning in the last two season quite confindently. However, that was not the case, when the Dutchman had a great battle against Lewis Hamilton in 2021. In Sao Paulo, the driver was asked which battle is more motivating?

In 2021, everything has happened between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. From crashes at Silverstone and Monza to the Abu Dhabi decided controversially on the final lap, emotions ran high.

In 2024, Verstappen's rival is McLaren driver Lando Norris. The two previously crashed at the Austrian Grand Prix, and much discussed penalties were given out for the drivers both in Austin and then a week later in Mexico City as well.

Ahead of the Sao Paulo GP, the Dutchman was asked which battle is more motivating for him. "I mean, I think every battle is good. I don't think any is more motivating or whatever. You just try to do the best you can every single time that you go out there, really," Verstappen revealed.
